Mastering is the final prep stage after recording and mixing which completes the overall presentation of your audio content. Once your mix is completed, the tracks can then be arranged on disc for final presentation. Each track (song) is sonically analyzed against industry standards and processed for maximum clarity, level, and response. Mastering also includes the creation of PQ codes, spaces, pauses, and track indexes, - as well as the final writing of the disc table of contents.
How do we do it…??
Since every project is unique, there is no pre-set formula that can be used to filter your material. At KProduction Services, we use a combination of analog and digital state of the art inboard/outboard processing gear, we inspect the actual wave file for visual graphic analysis, and then process your material through special audio servers made specifically for audio mastering use. We also do something different - we listen, - to every note of every track to make sure that nothing was overlooked when processing your master. Even the best overall recordings can be enhanced by a quality mastering job, that is why EVERY major label release is mastered prior to hitting the store shelves.
Worried about copying your master…??
At KProduction Services, all our audio CD masters are created to international “Red Book” standards, which ensures that there are no compatibility issues between your master source and the processes used to duplicate (copy) your project. Each master is analyzed and processed prior to being sent out for approval. When you receive a master from us, it’s ready for production…guaranteed.
